On paper, and on zoom during lock down, it seemed that the idea my brother and I came up with, to build a hexagonal Hut was genious.
Turns out you have to be a pretty much genious to put it together. I said in a previous post than we're struggling to get the foundation blocks in the right place, as soon as we think we're there we realise one of the set of blocks is in the wrong position. Turns out you can't shoogle things about and hope it all comes together on the night, a scientific approach is required.
Added to that it's nigh impossible to get the team (family and friends) together at the same time.
If you've ever watched Celebrity masterchef, you'll have seen the 'tag team' challenge where they split into two teams of three. The first person comes up with an idea, starts preparing and cooking and leaves clues for the next person. Person two comes in, and invariably doesn't see the masive clue (like a whole chicken in the oven), and continues to create something. The third person comes in, usually to a bit of a mess, finishes cooking the meal and concentrates on making it look masterchef worthy.
Our build has taken a bit of a masterchef turn. My bother, who lives further north than us, had some time recently to start the construction. Then sent us pictures of instructions and some clues on site.

Yikes, wish us luck !
