I shall be needing insurance soon for a hut under construction. I would like to know if other hutters have been successful in finding insurance? Who did you use? What was the cost? Could you recommend them?
I have filled out a quotation form with "Love Your Hut" but no reply to date. Also awaiting quotes from my usual woodland liability insurer, but huts seem to be something insurers are unfamiliar with. Wondering if I should instead just look for "holiday home" insurance and say it's an off-grid, timber "chalet" in the centre of a wood. Hopefully, they can get their heads around that.
Anyway, what is your experience?
