Well we're getting somewhere towards getting the foundations complete for our Hut.
During lock down my brother and I worked on a design based on my idea of having a Hut where people can sit in a circle and have great conversations. So we came up with a hexagon shape, which also is an homage to the bees. We eventually decided to construct it with a reciprocal roof.

Now comes the challange of the build. We need 7 holes, one in the middle and six round the outside to support the floor and the upright beams. What a carry on trying to get them level and in the right place, third time lucky tomorrow hopefully!

You'll see from previous posts, my grandaughter is keen to learn joinery. It's been a bit of a slog getting to this point, particularly cutting through a few huge roots, but she said the last time we were there "this is getting exciting"!
Popped in to see how your build is progressing. :)
